most revered and renowned Marian Pilgrim Centre after Velankanni,
is the Holy Shrine of Koratty Muthy otherwise known as Koratty
Thampuratty. All through the year, especially during the feast
days, devotees of all castes and creeds, from far and wide,
throng to this place to pay their respect to Koratty Muthy
(Mother Mary) and pray for blessings.
St.
Mary's Forane Church in the Archdiocese of Ernakulam-Angamaly
situates in the Southern boundary of Trichur District.
